METHODIST LADIES COLLEGE

Conservation Management Plans

Methodist Ladies College was established by the Methodist Church of Australia in 1907 upon 6 acres of land on the escarpment of the Swan River in Claremont. The original building comprised one building, Centenary Building, situated amongst a green setting. Since that time, Methodist Ladies College has developed into a complex site of over 20 buildings, sporting facilities and landscaped gardens.

Project Details:
Hocking Heritage Studio has prepared an overarching Conservation Management Plan for the Methodist Ladies College site and buildings incorporating revised and new conservation plans for the three heritage buildings: Centenary Building, Barclay House and Burnside House together with building condition reports and repair strategies for all the buildings on the school complex.
